Nice work! I don't see many people playing with alternate schemes in Warmachine - I find the twist rather refreshing.

These are great. I've just started getting into Warmahordes with Circle and have not seen many alternate colour schemes, especially so for Warmachine. The scheme is good and the paint job better.

I have to say, you are very good at painting black, and that is one of the hardest things to paint without it looking too dull IMO. I have to paint my Black Ivan at some point, and I was wondering, how did you do your black? What was your basecoat and how many colors did you use?

Thanks for the compliment. For the black I use black primer. The highlights are done using 1:1 Codex Grey and Chaos Black for the first highlight which is an entire border. The second highlight is pure Codex Grey but over areas where lighting would hit it. For the 3rd and extreme highlight I use Fortress Grey over just a tiny portion of the previous 2nd highlight. I go back to correct my strokes using Chaos Black to fix over my strokes. Then I spray Krylon Matte Spray to seal it and give it that finished smooth look.
