Thanks. I have not yet decided what weapon it will carry. I do not know if if flame throwers or a pesticid/ fire extinguisher like gun are appropiate for nurgle. Would a model carrying such a weapon be playable in a game ? I am still fairly new to the hobby and do not know these things yet.

Hmm, well that depends on what game system are you building this for. If it's for Fantasy, as far as I'm concerned, anything resembling a close combat weapon will do. That includes a chunk of rusted metal, a broken marble column, etc.
If it's for 40k (since you mentioned flame throwers I'll guess it's actually for 40k)... it depends on what you're aiming to represent. Considering the vague humanoid form and the head you've built, it could make a pretty fine Nurgle Daemon Prince if you ask me. And if that's the case, well then again I'd go for some decaying close combat weapon.
Looking at that helmet, ever played Fallout: New Vegas and its add-on Dead Money? Check the Ghost people if you need some ideas, specially their weapons ( knife spear, bear trap fist and gas bomb).

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.
GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get. |

Thanks a lot for the quick and thorough answer, korinov. The model is supposed to be a 40k one. I really like your beartrap suggestion and will try to think of a similar contraption that could be carried as a fist weapon. Maybe one in each hand.
I have another question : Does the size of the model matter when i want to play it as a nurgle demon pronce ? As of now it is almost 7 inches high, so it will need a pretty big base too.
Thanks.

Neat stuff.
I like the way the head was clearly influenced by the old Russian gasmasks with the filters at the end of the hose.

Hey, i want to give an update on my progress. After trying out a few different concepts i decided to give this model a priest like theme, taking details from lots of classic christian imagery and corrupting them to make them more nurgle like.

Very nice, and honestly if its a scratch built model certain tourneys wont let you use it. Around me most would because i think you may actually be taller than a Great Unclean One and that just makes you a bigger target, which doesnt benefit you. Honestly as long as its similar in size most people dont care.

Hello again. Thanks for the kind words and the advice. I have just finished giving the demon a coat. Later i will try to green stuff it to make it look like it is made of flesh and sewn together.
example : http://www.coolminiornot.com/367668?browseid=11005779 .
I will also start adding the details to the back soon and give it a nice ripped open belly with organs showing and the entrails hanging out.
Thanks.

An update on my progress. I added a lot more small details to the headpiece and am currently working on the weapon.
