Makaleth wrote: Any idea when this is happening? I thought that it was going to be late Feb
Yes, they wanted 27/28 February, then it was 4th March and now it's highly possible that it's "a few days later". I would say, they're doing it from the 4th to the 10th, I don't think it's going to be later, since the Kickstarter itself will be 45 days.. and the people could get annoyed if this happens to often.
Unfortunately I think I may not be in on this one- I need to wait for the RBG relaunch, and now mecha front is on my radar! But I will be watching closely and who knows, might get swayed like I have on so many KS before

Stop making the same posts over and over in every thread. It's getting really tiring, several of us have called you on it, and you continue to do so.
Kroot, on the other hand, makes a nod about the nazi ork here and there but by and large stopped posting about it. Which you could learn a lot from.
Or, you could continue to make the same post over and over...
So it's not valid to make a similar point months or a year on and in a different context? Really? Seriously, look at what I wrote and tell me if that's honestly an unreasonable post. I've just quoted it for you. They have a KS coming up with a range of new models, and I'm hoping out loud that the scale issues are not going to be an issue this time. Why? Because it's turned out to be an ongoing concern with Raging Heroes figures and while I would like to give them money for their upcoming Kickstarter, I would also like to be sure that I will be able to mix their figures in with my existing models.
Azazelx wrote: As a RH fan, I just hope they upscale their figures to the same scale as GW's figures. The Sci-Fi Vestals were actually the right scale for proper cross-compatibility.
Oh, and the last time I mentioned their scale was August 2012. It's now March 2013. I last mentioned their scale 7 months ago. Please tell me if you can reasonably call my comment/hope about their upcoming KS-scale (pre-Kroot-trolling) is unreasonable in the context and time frame that it was posted in.
The rest of the BS interplay thread is the result of Kroot deciding to troll me, so I played right along. You might also find that many posters who participate in any given thread end up making the same or similar points over a period of time.
Azazel, I edited the post to be more constructive, and it's true- I should give you credit for letting that argument lie for 7 months . I apologize if my tone was a little too combative, it's getting a bit late here.
I, too, hope they make the figures a bit larger, but I think they've gotten the message and from what they posted, they will be doing so!
Ok, So I read the last few pages of this thread and am still totally, utterly confused.
1.) Are they running 3 separate kickstarters simultaneously? Space Ladies, Space Nuns, and a Dark Elf one?
2.) None of these have yet started, right? I searched on KS for "raging heroes" and found nothing.
3.) That post on scale answered... nothing, to my reading. Could someone who has a better grasp of English answer this for me: Are the Space Ladies likely to be GWSIG scale? Are the Space Nuns likely to be in that scale, or PAMEQ size (either is OK I guess)?

1. 3 Kickstarters, yes. Not simultaneously though.
2. None of them have started yet. First one should begin any time now.
3. Space ladies should be roughly GW size (maybe a tiny bit smaller, which should be ok, since they are ladies). I dunno how armoured the Space nuns will be, but I imagine they'll be bigger/bulkier than space ladies.

Well there's something to be said about consistency...
Perhaps someday they will team with Valve to create a game, and the double-lateness will combine to form a temporal paradox that has a giant pile of DVD's and Steam activation codes appearing before some perplexed neanderthal.

Last time I looked, they had a few left on their webshop.
Do you know if they are scaled to fit in with GW's Empire figs?

I don't have many Empire figures, and the only one I could find is a bald warrior priest who is leaning forward as he is running. The Konigsmarks are about half a head taller - not including their big hats, but including high heels. So a little taller, but much skinnier. As individual character models, they work ok. Their legs-spread-wide poses would make them problematic to base on a 20mm square (which is what they came with).
Based on just this one figure that I can find, if you subtracteed the giant heels on the girls, and added a big fluffy hat as many Empire figs seem to have, the older sister and the WP would be about the same height. The other two have their legs spread pretty wide in their stances, and are only a fraction shorted than their older sister, If they stood up straight, they'd be half a head (at least) taller than their sis, and a full head taller than the WP. I blame most of that on the extremely (unnaturally) long legs that RH gave them. They have similar unnatural (elongated) proportions to some of the old metal Rackham female figures, but that's pretty plain from their pics and renders.
Our Kickstarter is almost ready but unfortunately, as we mentioned in our previous post, we are being slowed down by anticipated but not yet solved administrative delays. It's nothing major, but it's very frustrating. We'll keep you posted as things move on but this will mean another few more days of patience for all of us. We really can't wait to reveal all the great work that we have ready for you. In the meantime, you'll be seeing another preview of the Toughest Girls of the Galaxy. And please know that we are very encouraged and driven by your support, and we thank you most sincerely for it!

I ordered the medieval general Brunhilde with the massive flamberge just last week. Looks amazing on the site, not received yet though.
Reminds me of the weapons in the original war hammer book. Always loved the two handed great flail and flamberge!

Aurora SMs in 5th Ed (18 wins, 3 draws, 13 losses)
So on that video it shows that they're about 35mm without the hat. That is too large to look nice next to GW figs. Weren't the complaints about Dark Elves that they were too small? So they made rest of the miniatures taller to go with GW lines. But GW elves and eldar are taller than their humans... So are Raging Heroes humans now scaled to the size of GW eldar?
I really want these to go with IG, but I don't want giant ladies in my guard. (Unless they're ogrettes.)
They could definitely do with being a couple of mm shorter, although on saying that I've played three battles with those two in my army now and I really don't notice. Even Maliska with her 'no woman stands in that pose evar!' daftness.
It wasn't till MGS noted on my facebook that they where blatantly taller that I really took note. Its slightly annoying, but for me at least its not annoying enough for me to avoid using them in my force. There are so many mis-scales thought out the range, I don't really notice a little thing like that. Some High Elf helms for example make them characters tower over their allies.
Of course If the Kickstarter ends up with most of the girls a little shorter, I won't be complaining.
