Good morning all.
Here is my finished Imperial Knight Errant of House Griffith. This is my 4th Knight for the House, and represents my Seneschal (and/or Warlord) on the tabletop.
This one has some extra....modifications, to include a Xerxes-pattern power claw and a Seneschal banner.
All my Knights are based in the same theme: "Return to Vraks", where the reports of its sentence of exterminatus turn out to be unfounded, and where life exists when none should.

Inspiration for the claw came from PhillyT, and the banner from Tommie Soule, though on both counts mine are not nearly as well executed. The claw is from Dreamforge and modified to fit on the reaper chainsword assembly, and the banner is scratchbuilt with the main banner coming from the AM Scions box. I also modified the middle of the chassis with a 1/4" insert for stability since the weapon arms are heavier than normal. It also gives the Knight a nice height boost and accentuates it's Seneschal status.

Shot in the dark: Does anyone have a line on getting the limited Knight Transfer sheet that GW produced? I bought 4 of them, but am now out of Griffith transfers. I've got a Castigator and Acheron waiting in the wings and would like the decals to match.

I love everything you did on this mini except the left Freddy Kruger hand. Not sure what about it feels off to me. I think its a bit matte maybe, or lacking depth or something. Could honestly be the picture though.

Is that claw from the 15mm Dreamforge Leviathan? It looks a little big, but I've always wanted to convert the Knights to have a claw, so I think it's worth it. Maybe curling the fingers up for future conversions may help it not appear quite as large, or using a Dreamforge weapon on the other arm to balance it out (Nova cannon).

Paint job is absolutely fantastic! Such a realistic feel, well done

Yup, that's the Dreamforge Leviathan claw. It does appear a little large, but overall I think it gives it a menacing look.
The claw is fully articulated, so I can make it do any number of things: closed, open, pointing, middle finger, etc.... The nice part is that it requires only a little bit of cutting/shaving to mount on the chainblade arm, once you remove the actual chainblade portion.
And it's actually pretty cheap, as I got it off ebay for about 20 bucks.

That claw though! So good.
