Subject: The Pope's Painting Project - Keeping me on track. With Brets and Harad!
With an approximate three month deadline to get some armies done I've decided to create a P&M Blog in a hopeful attempt to keep on target.
As a bit of background, I got back into WFB two years ago and have only recently started playing semi-seriously (read as 'regularly' and 'I've suddenly learnt how to write effective lists'). To celebrate I've joined GW Maidstone's Ladder Tournament* and Map Campaign** with the goal of attending my first Throne of Skulls in 5 years. So without further ado; I present to you my 2000 point ET Bretonnian List! (spoiler-d to avoid wall of text)
Spoiler:
Lord : Godfrey Du Alonne (Bretonnian Lord) : 219 pts
- (110), Virtue of Confidence (25), Morning Star of Fracasse (25), Helm of Discord (30), Shield (3), Barded Bretonnian Warhorse (21)
Hero : The Green Knight : 275 pts
Hero : Walder L’Anguille (Paladin) : 170 pts
- (60), Virtue of Duty (10), Banner of the Lady (100)
Hero : Luis L’Anguille (Paladin) : 105 pts
- (60), Virtue of Duty (20), Armour of Agilulf (25)
Hero : Lady Elennore’ (Damsel of the Lady) : 130 pts
- (70), Level 2 (35), Prayer Icon of Quenelles (25)
Hero : Lady Marceline (Damsel of the Lady) : 95 pts
- (70), Ruby Ring of Ruin (25)
Now progress will neither be very fast nor very impressively; but I'm happy with my tabletop skills. To prove actual progress, a unit of Peasant Bowmen, with 2 nearly done. Apologies for the poor quality; I don't have a proper setup yet.
Also, for added effect; some of my Haradrim Warband I've started.
Thanks for dropping by, C&C are always welcome.
*The Tournament is 1,500 points with End Times army configuration - if you want to get involved pop in store and ask for Gary!
** Same composition as the Ladder League; but it hasn't started yet.
Keep me on track!
