Took me approximately an hour and a half to paint. I'm starting up a new force and want to be able to bust some models out quick and get them on the board. This is my attempt.

The lighting is kind of off, but the armor is actually ironbreaker metal with biel-tan green ink and runefang steel highlights. Might look gold in a few of the pics.

What do you guys think?

Simple, but effective. Looks sort of like some kind of insects carapace. My only major suggestion is the highlights on either side of the loincloth are a bit too extreme for my liking (though to be honest it may just be the lighting).

Either way, good work all around

Looks great for a fast effective troop paint. Sometimes heavy inking/washing can look awful especially colored inks but it looks, at least from the photos like you got away with it here.

I'm really digging the color scheme. The fading black to green looks really nice. I do, however, think that the grass color clashes a bit with the model. I think a dead grass would look better.
