Finished painting up my boss!, what you guys think?

Now that is a lot of Dakka! And I love the "stick" alto the lucky tree-trunk seems appropriate.

cool man. my advice would be to put a bit more contrast into his skin as atm its kind of almost a big dark mass off stuff with the metals being so dark. if you bring his skintone highlights up it will define contrasting areas a bit more. also ^^ definately needs a bigger base, with a light coloured terrain i think..maybe sand or light grey rock type affair. he looks like hes about to fall off that one..and i can see some purple under his foot, but i cant tell what it is? a dead tyranid maybe? but if you put him on a 40mm round base you could have that dead tyranid nice and clear, rather than having it crammed onto that tiny thing...where you cant tell, if you see my meaning?

I've re painted the flesh to make it lighter, though its still a little dark I don't want him as light skined as my boyz so I think its as good as I can do it :p. I agree he needs a bigger base but warboss' come on 40mm bases so can't really go bigger as it would be breaking the rules , though he is weighted so stays upright easily .

I've added on some snow to lighten the base up as the board I've made is snow themed :p.

Indeed it is a dead tyranid on the base , its a carnafex painted up to my brothers scheme (he's been decapitated because the warboss is a beast , similarly with all the dk bits I've included as trophies of killing my mates dread knights army :p
