So I just finished these commissions from the game dark age. Was wondering what y'all think of em.
Also needed some advice to commission painters: I'm sort of new to painting and really new to commission painting.
If you were to buy or sell these at this quality what would you be willing to pay/sell them for?

I really like the blue details. Gotta get me some more dark age stuff at some point.

My advice to anyone starting new as a commission painter is to charge by the hour. You can provide an estimate at the outset based on how many hours you think a project will take, then keep a careful record of hours worked on the project.

Take on only one project at a time and keep a calendar to plan when you can take on new work.

Painting armies is mentally draining far more than painting one-off pieces, shop you may want to break up larger projects with ones and plan your time estimate accordingly.

Your quality, based on this thread, is OK. Painting professionally is less about how good your painting is and more about how good your customer service is.

R.
