So I managed to get ahold of a DV power maul marine helmet, (the one he has in his hand) and I'm now stuck on how to attach it to a marine. Since it is a glorified mask at the moment model wise, what would be a good way to get a solid head to attach it to?
EDIT to clarify its this guy's helmet

Can you post a picture of it? eBay is a great place for bits. Otherwise, if its pretty much a mask, I would just use whatever heads you have on you or greenstuff a head of reasonable shape and use the mask to cover the face.

So, you have a front but not a back? No problem.
Get yourself some greenstuff, mix a little bit, and then roll it into a smaller-than-head-sized ball. Use a bit of glue to attach the GS to the torso. Let the GS cure for like an hour.
Then come back and glue the helmet onto the ball. You might have to work with it a bit for the face to set correctly where you want it to (especially to make sure it's high enough off the torso without also being a goose neck). The GS should still have a little bit of workability, but not so much that once you glue the face down, it will start to sag. You can also help prevent this by putting a thin coat of glue over the rest of the GS ball, as superglue gives GS topical rigidity.
Anyways, let that set for another few hours. Once that's done, you have a model with a helmeted head in the right place, but it's just missing the back part. That's where GS comes in once again. Instead of rolling up a ball, lay it flat, glue it to the ball, and then form it down in a nice, smooth, vaguely back-of-helmet shape, cutting off any excess. So long as it lines up in some sort of cohesive way with the front of the helmet, you should be good to go.
Add details to taste once that's cured.
If you're stuck with the horrors of plastic glue, then I guess the best you're going to be able to do is to find a real CSM helmet and chop the face off. Hopefully in a way where the two parts match up nicely enough, without having gouged too much, or not enough.
