Go outside on a cloudy day (or in the shade on a sunny day), bring out a black T-shirt or blanket or something to set the minis on, take the pictures without flash, and then use any of a variety of free image software packages (such as
The Gimp) to turn them right-side up, and handle any color or levels glitches.
Once we can get a good look at the models, we'll be able to help you more.
From what I can tell, it looks fine enough. Unless you want to keep it a "crisp" green, you might want to consider a dose of brown wash.
