Here's a pair of Wraithnights I've finished yesterday for a client just in time for LVO! This was my second commission but it pushed my limits quite hard due to the deadline.
The customer requested metallic green with copper and purple accents, and I'm rather pleased with how it came out. These were also thouroughly magnetized, a grand total of 38 magnets between the two. I've also included a couple WiP shots that give a better shot of the purple cosmic effect.

What's the going rate for something like this?

This is in the showcase thread so I'm gonna just give you my opinion. The airbrush looks like it was used, you could have built up some gradiants in the shadows at the highlights. There is a lot of surface on this model so some contours would have helped as it looks really bland in the one color.

The base, although I like the crystals is way too basic.

Heaps of gems have been missed too.

I think it's great Crystal bases look awesome whilst not drawing too much attention away from the knights.

Regarding gems, I prefer the more reserved approach. Find it becomes too busy if reserve isn't shown >_<

I went with the reserved gem approach for a few reasons, time, and i wanted the gems to be focal points on the model to draw in the eye. Hell even GW only has a few gems painted on the model on the box.
As much as it sounds like an excuse, the pics aren't best quality to show off the models sadly, they were taken at 5:30 AM after being up all night to finish them and ship them out the same day, and on top of that, uploading pics directly to a thread sucks more detail and shading out of the photos.

Looks great! How did you do the metallic green? Was that a specific paint or one of your own concoction?

It's an artist acrylic paint I picked up at a local store, it's Jacquard Lumiere Pearl Emerald green.
Thinned out about 50/50 with liquitex AB Medium and sprayed over a black/dark grey basecoat in a few layers. Once dry I sprayed Army painter strong tone wash, thinned 50/50 with water over the whole model, this tones down the brightness of the green and of course darkens the lines and recesses evenly since it's essentially applied all at once.

Excellent, thanks! I was just thinking about some coloured metallics and wasn't sure where to start. Now that I have a name, that seems like a good place, haha.

I personally love the look. You don't see a lot of metallic Eldar schemes, so it's nice when you do see them. Green and purple was a good choice and I love the OSL on the crystals.
