Hey all,
I'm new to 40k and started a Crimson Fist army last year. I got a lot of help from you guys here at dakkadakka so I wanted to say a huge thank you to you all and thought you might like to check out how my army is coming along.
So far I have fully painted, Pedro Kantor, Tactical squad, Scout snipers and a Dreadnought.
I probably won't be posting for a while after this because I'm working on a ten man sternguard squad which im really going to take my time with, so I can get them just right.
Any comments and advice are really welcome because I'm keen to learn.

Still working on those sternguard but i had to take a break from them. Just too many tiny details! Thought i'd have a go at a rhino for my tactical squad.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. Mate they look great, I started a CF Army some years ago just as side project to add some colour to my exsisting marine force. The idea was it was a crusading Army with mixed squads, so it allowed me to paint different chapters while keeping to the main Army book. I'm now at just under a Battle Coy with termies, scouts and sternguard plus lots of armour. I love CF!
If I could make one suggestion though, if you're following the fluff about the chapter, then marines should only have their left hand crimson, only vetrans have both fists crimson. It's your call, it is after all your Army. But I had that conversation with one 'clever' player at a tourney on the Armies first outing. The guy kept bugging me about it all day, I should have just ignored him but he was technically correct. I countered with that the Army was full of Rynn's world vetrans after the war. That shut him up but he was correct, so I started painting most of the standard marines right hands back to blue.
Again they look great, you just need lots more, stop when you hit 100!!!!
