Subject: Scratchbuilt and converted Flesh Tearers characters - Chaplain and Librarian
Having recently acquired another Captain Karlaen from Deathstorm, I wanted to try and convert this boring and much unloved model into something a bit cooler, and loved the idea of a Librarian in Terminator armour. After much cutting (of both the model and me...), gluing, and liquid Greenstuff, I ended up with this fella. Note the base is temporary and I will also do more work on his currently non-existent weapon to make a badass Force maul or some such...
I was also kindly given a Chaplain model made from loads of different parts by JonnyHell so set about taking it apart to kitbash my own version of Carnarvon the High Chaplain of the Flesh Tearers (counts as Astorath).
Thanks for taking a look and if you have any C&C or if you see a mold line I have missed feel free to say! Thanks!

"Show no mercy, show no restraint! Feel the Emperor's fury flow through your veins and let it fuel our whirlwind of gore!"
Thanks! He was great fun to build as well, so much opportunity to add custom bitz and play around with the Flesh Tearer style. I was also playing with the idea of adding back banners to both or one, would be interesting to see what other people think? Don't know whether to go the complete 'must be practical for killing everything' attitude with the army, or a more arrogant and ostentious army that takes every opportunity to show off... Something to ponder at least as I build the army!

Great work!!! Way better than my pedestrian-looking beginnings!
