Hey everyone,

I wanted to showcase what I'm currently working on. I had a bunch of very badly painted ultramarines sitting around and have recently decided to strip them and repaint them into a mighty force of Crimson Fists (the chapter tactics are sweet and I love the scheme/fluff).

I bought a bunch of new stuff as well and have made a decent 750 points list which I will be starting with.

Here is some of my progress so far-
[Thumb - CF Scheme.jpg]
Paint scheme, classic Crimson Fists with a lot of edge highlighting (the camera made this look so bright, it's actually a lot darker than what is shown.)

[Thumb - CustSarg1.jpg]
One of my tac sergeants with combi-melta. Mixture of metal/plastic/resin parts.

Same model, I have the Crimson Fists shoulder pads added to all my characters

My other tac sergeant with combi-melta

Dev sergeant with boltgun

looks good, though with mexi-marines you may want to go easy on highlights since they are supposed to be a darker blue. beyond that, it does looks pretty good.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

Nice work on the marine. I like your builds, if you paint them to the same level, you will have a force to be proud of.

Thanks man appreciate it. Hrm the camera+lighting made the scheme look very bright but it's actually quite dark. I shaded the whole model in nuln oil before the cleaning up and highlightning, appreciate the tip though I will keep it in mind!

Thanks man appreciate it. It's probably the most appealing scheme I've painted I absolutely love the rich dark blue of the Crimson Fists. As for the builds those combi-meltas were bought from Ebay and a ton of converting has gone into each of my characters (man combi-meltas are super rare and expensive... :/).
