I've never sculpted a horse before and had some ideas for an Empire Knight so I tried my hand at a speed sculpt.
This was done over 2 days, 7 hours then 5 more the next day. I spent another hour later on adjusting the head.
I'm still not happy with the head, but it will be covered with armor so I'm leaving it for now.
I don't think it's too bad for my first ever horse sculpt.

Indeed. I think the eye could be moved down the head just a little, a bit more of a 'brow', and bigger triceps. But for a first stab at a horse it's flippin' nice, and I think it's great you realise that quadruped shoulders are different to human shoulders. Too many beginners don't get that.

The eyes are too high. That was already mentioned.
And you have no clavicles on the chest. The neck muscles run directly down into the chest, without a break where the horse's clavicles would be.
The horse basically has almost the same bones and musculature as a human, just arranged differently, and connected slightly differently to the spine.
You have the back half of the horse down pretty well, but are missing many of the details in the chest.

Let's see if I can get a reference image to load
In the attached image, you can see the pectoral muscles joining below the clavicles where the mastoid muscles come down the neck and end.
You have the mastoids coming all the way down to the wishbone (or the end of the sternum underneath the horse).
You need to break those with the addition of a set of pectoral muscles running across, and then the tops of the abdominal muscles coming up underneath the pectorals.

Yeah, I noticed the front was off.
This horse is going to have a lot of armor/barding on it so I don't think that will be noticeable in the end.
I'll focus more on that area on the next horse, which will probably be in a running pose.

Don't forget that the armor in that area is affected by the surface anatomy of the horse under the armor.
There will be a curve in the armor there to bring it further from the front legs at that point.
