Wanted to make a fun list that has that old, dusty oldcron smell to it.
So here is my faithful 1k point revival of the Necron 3rd Edition Codex, complete with 39 warriors with 4+ /4+++ with their Crypteks, a little mobility in the destroyers, and A C'tan shard to lead them.
Alternatively, replace Ctan with Monolith, add a warrior to make 40, and wargear for the cryptek warlord (Chronometron)
So far, it managed to manhandle Grey Knights.

I will say this is refreshingly old school. Looks to be a fun list to go against too.

I think you might find that Tomb Blades with Vanes and Beamers (No Nebuloscopes) to be closer to the old Destroyers Than the current ones. In 3rd Ed they were Jetbikes IIRC, (My old dex still in Storage), and their gun was a Heavy 3. I find that 2-3 Hits is what I Average with the Templates currently, and have gained back that feeling of Old Destroyers by running them like this.

Just a thought is all.
