Hey guys

Just started painting and after trying out a few methods on my first model, I decided upon a method I'd use for my first army, desert themed Tau.

This is my first unit, it took me about a 6 hours total time to finish the 8. The models to the right were all brush. After noticing I was losing edges due to paint being too thick, I went ahead and airbrushed my base colours on the ones to the left. I also changed from black in the recesses to brown, which I prefer. I have an extreme tendency to shake so after having a go at highlighting the first few, I decided I was happy with the results on the others without highlighting. It was getting a touch too stressful with the amounts of mistakes I was making.

Anyway, here they are! By no means anything special but I'm proud of them as a first attempt.

Thanks bud I'm not sure on the fluff to be honest. I was thinking of a small detachment sent to eradicate a non conforming desert planet but I've not expanded yet.
