Hi yall!

Thought I'd start putting these up again. This time around though it won't get stickied.

So after a long break I'm getting back to working on stuff. This month I'm going to be putting in some work on a Space Marine Attack Bike as a sort of warm up for a larger project I'm looking to start this summer. If I finish the bike early, I may work on a Finecast Chaplain in Terminator Armor.

What are you folks looking to work on this month?

Paint either one vehicle or 4 infantry every month. This is a year long goal. For April, I’m committing to paint my venerable dread for Para’s monthly comp.

I should do more baseing work.

Finish another 2 models of my DW Termies, and paint Vrosh Tattersoul for the April paining challenge.

Also, to try out a new technique of some kind.

Well a little change to my priorities for the month. I'll be more focused on the Chaplain Terminator for this month with the Attack Bike as a secondary goal. I'm going to enter Paradigm's monthly painting competition.

My goals are to practice, practice practice. LOL. I still have to finish painting ALL of my models instead of a little here and there. Its not like I have a full day of activities planned each day I need to finish my Blood Angels Tactical Squad, The converted SM Tactical Squad, Death Company Squad, and Sanguinary Guard. I hope to have most of all of those painted this month. Those arent counting the other two models Im working on building now. SM Tactical Squad and SM Command Squad. Undecided on how to implement the two. Either start them as a new/supplemental Army or just stick to Blood Angels until I get everthing I want finished.

Since I'm fresh back into the Hobby, my vow for this month is to simply strip down as many of my models as possible. I have a combination of the old lead and plastic GW models from the early - mid nineties. Including a couple of really early (and I'm guessing rare) Space Marines.

Any tips for carefully stripping the paint of models? I've read that Dettol works well, but it's always worth a second opinion.
