Any tips on what to do with the whip on this model? I've come to a grinding halt here :(

EDIT: Basically I don't want to just leave the whip black, but I can't really think of what else to do with it...

You could paint the barbs a metallic color. I.e. brass, steel, iron etc.

That way it could have the appearance of a leather (Or skin of your choice....) barbed with metal for mass rending power. It could similarly be bone. You can add blood drips to taste.


Aftermath can be calculated.

I have started doing that but now that I'm looking at the pic you can't really see the metallic on the barba.

I guess my issue is that there is some texturing on the whip itself to make it look like it's weaved, but I just can't think of what colors to use to make that more pronounced. Maybe black with grey highlights? Honestly I just hate painting leather cause I can never really find a color combo I like...
