I have recently got my hands on some skitarii and painted them
The bases were at first meant to be lava bases, but then turned into something, I have no clue
I apologise in advance for the quality of the pictures as they were taken on my phone.
I also cropped the images down, so that they would load faster :3

I like the edge of their coats, looks nice. As a whole they have a bit of an antique look to them which goes well with their background. The OSL is may be a bit much, but that is more a question of personal preference.

The bases look like some weird soupy past of Mars, maybe some swamp, at least they look good. the models look nice, the helmets with the osl give me this Isaac Clarke feel. Perfect since he's a space engineer pretty much.

A good tip for taking phone pictures is if you are using a white background is to set exposure up and set ISO to the lowest setting.

Good stuff, I'm still in awe they added a new race (though it probably isn't such a wild occurrence.)
