Eyo! It's 101 here with another newly painted miniature. Taking the lessons I learned from my last Berzerker (which looked pretty nice might I add

) I am trying something way more adventurous. This color scheme is a dark red and brown mixture body with a bright red head. I have a few questions. Also, sorry for the camera it makes everything seem so... Flaky... and if a lemon is flaky gee wizz that is odd.
Things that you should look for: See that white stripe on his head? That isn't a product of shaky hands no, that identifies him as a part of a Brazen Beasts first squad wear he will be matched with 7 others with the same designation. The body of this miniature was hell for me due to the fact that I had to blend a rhinox hide and mephiston red to get the color I wanted... Lets just say it went through tons of revisions.
I put three types of highlights on this model to ask ya'll which one you like the best.
A. The mournfang brown that adds to more of the flow of the model and brings the overall color down
B. The mephiston red that brings the overall color of the model up
Z. The tau-light orchid which looks REALLY bad at least in my eyes... I can only use that color for drybrushing the backpack and defiantly in less quantity.
Questions:
1. If i wanted to do the orange highlight how do I make the transition color from the rather dark mix to the INSANELY light highlight?
2. Do you guys like the overall look of the model? I still need to do a lot of highlights mind you!
C. How much dakka can you fit in a cookie jar?
3. (unrelated) Where can you find a digital download for the Warhammer Fantasy Game Mark of Chaos that game looks AMAZING!
Have a good Khorney

night ya'll!
