Very nice looking Terminators there! They look very natural, so good job. And that attention to detail on the chainfist is the icing on the cake!

Top notch work, I look forward to more from you

I love em'

These really help me realize that the model has so much to do with the quality, and damn, terminators have such a great kit.

Thanks gents.

The forge world shoulder pads are brilliant and really add to the model, just wish they did more than 5 designs!

I can't speak for the OP because for all I know he did it another way, but that looks like basic texture paints with some drybrushing. The rocks are likely little pieces of slate, which you can pick up pretty cheap at most hobby or art stores, which are then painted and drybrushed. There's a few dudes with little grass tufts on them as well, which again are pretty easily available from a lot of hobby or art stores.

Alternatively, it's sand glued on, then painted, then drybrushed. Kind of amazing how something so simple can look so good, right?

@ids1984: Can't get over the cool Aquilla tattoo on the sergeant. That's the kind of attention to detail that goes a long way. Excellent work, man!

Yeah that tattoo is like the icing on the cake for me. And that's one damn fine looking piece of cake. Hope we are going to get more of the same from you soon.

Almost right with the base!

The rocks are the little cork pieces from Army Painter.
The was GW armegeddon textured paint, agrax earthshade wash, zandri dessert dry brush, then usbati bone light dry brush.

Starting 2 contemptors next...

Everything looks awesome. I think the red is perfect. How was it done? And please post the pics of the contemptor when finished

The red is army painter dragon red, Army painter strong tone ink, then edge highlights with mepheston red, evil sunz scarlet, wild rider red.

Sure will post the contemptor.
