Subject: Is the back of the land raider's top normally displaced in the back?

After Putting together my LR Crusader, I realized that the back of the top, (Where the treads come back into the vehicle) is displaced and "Above" where it should connect.
Is this normal? I looked up on the web and found that other peoples's land raiders were similar to mine.
It doesn't bother me to much because the displacement occurs on both sides making it symmetrical, but it is still there.
The Pictures below are of my land raider, look to its back to see what I'm talking about.
EDIT: Spelling

My Achilles had a gap there. I filled it in during assembly.

It's a common flaw. You can ignore it or patch it. I don't think it was designed to be that way.

A common issue, and not even exclusive to Land Raiders - Rhino chassis vehicles often have alignment issues with their tops, too. Slight misalignment during construction of the sides or a gently warped top (not hard to do, considering the size vs. thickness of the piece) are usually to blame, in either case.
Still, the fineness of the gap, the bilateral symmetry, and the general lines of the vehicle (stepped, angular plates, recessed panel lines, etc.) make it easy to ignore, if not seem outright intentional. Nothing to lose sleep over, but now that you know to look for it, you can decide whether to fill the gap on any subsequent builds, should it happen again.

During assembly I found that rubber banding the whole model together and leaving it sit overnight solved the problem.
