So still competitive but this time I've almost engaged my brain. I give you Eldair:

So just a single Wraithknight! Still a swarm of Bikes because... well the codex practically forces you at laser point to take (or should that be laser lack of points  ). But 5 flyers which can not be ignored particularly the Hemlocks who put out serious hurt with Vector Dancer ensuring they'll almost always get to shoot.

So Crimson Death requires you to upgrade one of the hunters to an exarch. Aside from that, I could see you trimming some points for an autarch on a bike. Reserve modifications are always great, especially with all of your flyers.

Against a skilled opponent this list is not strong.. the thing is once the jetbikes die (by turn 2 unless you hide them, which you can't because 22 jetbikes are physically huge models) you now have a half dead wraithknight plus maybe 2 fliers at turn 3.. how can you win? don't get me wrong the fliers will probaby survive but one or two won't and by turn 5 you are no wraithknight plus 3 or 4 fliers

Why no Objectives? I have 6 fast moving scoring units. You seem to assume the Jetbikes die whilst doing nothing and that I give up Warlord every time. Depends who is warlord and how I play him.
The flyers are good and do fairly significant damage. 4 D blasts a turn, 10 S8 Ap2 shots and 4 S6 Ap2 a turn will hurt most things.

It's 12 str 8 shots.. Yes but your fliers will (statistically) come in in stages as reserve rolls dictate.. you may have none on turn 3.. you may have them all.. but they only shoot (statistically)
Turn 1) 0 str 8 shots 0 dcanon
Turn 2) 4 str 8 shots 0 d canon
Turn 3) 4 str 8 shots 2 dcanon
Turn 4) 8 str 8 shots 4 dcanon (assume hunter still to arrive)
Turn 5) 8 str 8 shots 4 canon (assume one hunter dies)
So that is not 12 str8 shots over 5 turns.. it is 24 over 5 turns.. or statistically, 4.8 str 8 shots per turn and 2 dcanon shots per turn
That assumes there are enemy targets available EVERY turn and that the hemlocks will be engaging every turn (they won't) and the opponent kills only one (he won't if he has any AA) and that your opponent doesn't maneuvre to deny you targets (he will)

Your scoring units will be the only thing the opponent has to chew on for two turns if he goes first.. he *will* chew on them.. I would be surprised if you had 2 jet bike units on the table to contest anything by turn 3.. and those will be useless behind a mountain somewhere.. because all his anti infantry fire will be on them

Your maths is not a strength is it? Try again but with actual maths not just made up numbers (like assuming there is still one to arrive after turn 4 when all remaining auto arrive). If my opponent goes first then he has 2 turns to concentrate on Jetbikes AND a Knight. If I go first he has 1 turn before 4-5 flyers turn up (4.167 average).
