I've been working on this Scratch Built Ork Battle Tank for some time now. it still has a little ways to go but is close to finished so I thought i'd share it.

So far this tank features:
- Removable, Rotating Battle Cannon Turret
- Rotating Heavy Machine Gun Side Sponson
- Fixed Side Sponson Rocket Launcers
- Fixed Center Hull Machine Gun
- 6 Wheeled-Full Tracked Design
- Loads of Extra Armor

Still Planned:
- More Armor to close in glaps and add to the build-up
- Add armor cage to the rotating machine gun sponson
- Add more detail to the turret

Let me know what you think and if you have any more suggestions to help finish this battle tank, they are always appreciated!

Wow, definitely a build that took some rummaging around in a bits box... Looks absolutely great and scratch built (in ork terms that's good).

The armies that I collect:

- Tyranids, 2,000 pts.
- Orks, 1,250 pts.
- Tau, 750 pts.
- Guard (PDF), 750 pts.

(Yes I have a thing for horde armies to some extent)

Very nice build. For some reason I particularly like the cockpit style front.

Looking good! IDK what it is about that front left wheel that's sticking out but IMHO it seems idk out of place.. It looks very Mars Rover like. Idk I could be wrong but to me it sticks out.
Love the rockets and Gatling gun on the sides

Thanks guys, I agree it needed more Dakka and needed to be beefed up some more!
@zammerak - I agree with you about the single separate front wheel... so I added another wheel to guiding drive system. I hope it feels more balanced now!

He's taken a few more plunges into the bits box and here's the results!
Of course let me know what you think and if you have any more suggestions to help finish this battle tank, they are always appreciated!

As of now this tank features:
- Removable, Rotating Battle Cannon Turret with Machine Gun
- Removable, Rotating Zap Cannon Turret with Machine Gun

This Tank has yet to be named so if anyones got some awesome ideas I'm all ears!

Also as I'm getting closer to finishing this model I'm honestly thinking of selling it...
Do you guys think I should paint it before I do or sell it un-painted?

Great work man. Looking superb

Unless you are an above average painter, I would leave it unpainted if you are set on selling it. However, I would also strongly recommend you keep it. You obviously put a lot of effort into designing it and it looks great.

Very nice, looks a bit too nice to sell! Looks like you put a lot of work into it. An undercoat to draw it all together would make it look even nicer.

Thanks guys I love the responses! and the name suggestions are pretty good so far! "Da Krumpa" is a good one!

I feel you guys on keeping it and not selling it, it's hard not to lol but I also love building cool stuff and sharing it with other people, somewhere out there at this point there's probably hundreds of my models, most of which are custom, in all sorts of people's armies. And that's an awesome honor to me that others might be enjoying my pieces and making their armies a bit more unique and cool! Plus I've always enjoyed making Ork stuff with all my hoarded bits hahaha

As far as painting, I'm a pretty good painter but I do like the idea of creating something and then allowing the new owner to paint it to fit their own army, otherwise it will just stand out as being different in style and scheme.

Thanks for the input!

Yeah either spray prime or leave as is. Spray prming makes the model really come together though.

Thanks guys! I think I'm going to leave it as is to help show off the conversion work on this piece but otherwise a flat grey primer might be nice as well to bring it together.
I think I'm pretty much done now that I've added more rivets and some green stuff to fill some last gaps and what not.

Hopefully you all enjoy the results of this project!
