I've got what I feel is a pretty cool color scheme going, but I’m at a bit of a loss as to how to continue here.

I’m quite happy with the pattern, but I don’t know if edge highlighting the rest of the ship will look decent, and I’ve never done weathering over super bright green. Either that or a dark wash seems pretty necessary, but I’d like to keep the brightness on the piece and working from a dark back up to that crazy bright green seem tricky.

I’d probably be looking at a contrast color or white if there was to be edge highlighting and a contrast would detract from the stripes I think.

Open to all suggestions!

Love it!

I think you definitely need some kind of contrast in the crevices to stop it looking like a chinese toy.
You don't need to wash the entire thing, as there are so many large smooth areas that the wash would pool and look terrible, just carefully brush it into the detail like you're lining in, it should suffice and you won't lose the neon.

Honestly, it's just too bright and cartoonish. It's never going to look realistic because that color rarely exists in the real world. If you want to add depth and realism to it you'll probably have to strip the model and start over with a more subdued color choice.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Simple - highlight with a fluro yellow or green from vallejo.

In my opinion, just wash the lines over the vehicle, and it would look great, aside from that, that's a pretty good color scheme you've got!

That's a bit more like it.

I'd like to brighten the base green a bit. Fellow over on B&C recommended airbrushing on scorp green mixed with Vallejo fluorescent green. Think that'll go over the top for some highlight ok?
