Hi guys and gals,

So it was recently my brother-in-law's 12th birthday.
His family picked him up a bunch of 40K stuff for his small existing army, but I thought I'd do something special and paint him up a commander in his army colours to use as a centre-piece.

I'm far from a pro-painter, but I'm quite happy with the results considering I had a very small window of time to finish this guy.
Due to this rush I know that I have missed the teeth an wrist-skulls, in addition to the final highlight on the seals on the back - things i'll touch up the next time he comes over.

This is also the first time i've really tried edge highlighting, cloth and power-sword effects.

I can already notice that in future I probably need to water down the highlights more, but further C+C's would be greatly appreciated.

The fact you was on a time limit will easily excuse the few minor discrepancies.

This is a very nicely painted model and will sit very well as a center peice of your brother in laws army. I wish someone would have done that for me when I was younger :-)
