I've been getting in quite a bit of painting recently so here's an update

Those are some mighty fine Black Templars.
How have you done the bases? They look a little marshy. Is it a painted sand base with a bit of static grass added?
Are these guys being run as Sword Brethren or going to be enlarged to be a Crusader squad?
Looking forward to seeing more.

The ten man squads will be crusader squads armed with meltas/ plasma weapons. (Still another 3 crusader squads to come) and the bases where done with temperature treated liquid green stuff, stripped on with an old brush. About 5 different browns, seraph in sepia wash, and yes static grass added for good measure  cheers.

Wow not sure whether you update after I posted but I didn't see all the other models. Quite a force you have developing there. There is a real Blanche style aesthetic developing. That sort of dirty, been in the field for too long sort of look to them.
