So I am painting skulltaker for my Khornate army.
I don't like the idea of skulls on his cloak being tied together with a bronze thread.
I am not sure where or if I saw it somewhere else bit I want mine to be depicted as using nerve tendons and sinew from his victims to tie their skills together during battle. What do you guys think?

It's very spoopy and I quite like it. However, I think it needs some more shading and highlights to make it a bit more gruesome; right now the solid color looks a little bit like they're held together with chewing gum. Even a quick drybrush and wash would do a lot for it.

Hey owain thanks for feedback. This is still a WIP as stated and yes, I will dry brush it. I need to be sure I'm on the right track before I keep going or else I go to brass coloured as GW suggests. Guess I will keep going with my chewing gum threads I think lol. Thanks.

You could try covering all of the "sinew/nerves" with BFTBG (Blood for the Blood God) technical paint. Could really up the gruesome.
