so I've recently revamped my Blood angels army, as some of you may have seen with my attempt at the new tactical squad and sternguard kits http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/650010.page
so now I thought I'd share with you some of my attempts at the heroes of the Blood Angels - I've decided to start off small and work my way up to the unique characters in the codex.
Painted to gaming standard, which for me is a lot higher than it used to be (if you've seen my earlier works you'll know what I'm talking about!), so without further ado I give you my take on a blood angels Librarian and Sanguinary Priest.
Also, apologies in advance for the mould lines you may fine on the priest - I hope I've covered them sufficiently on the robes with the free-hand.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on them, and there will be more, so watch this space...

Ok, so next batch of heroes, five jump pack-toting heroes of the Blood Angels, originally designed as an old fashioned honour guard, but they're each a character in their own right. Whaddya think?

I don't particularly care for the highlights on the blue for the mentor librarian. A little to0 dark a base blue, and too light highlights IMHO.

Yeah, I realise the highlighting scheme I do isn't to everyone's taste, but if you are harnessing the powers of the warp, then gradual highlighting doesn't really cut it. Speaking of witchcraft, I'm uploading a custom-built Mephiston, using Astorath's body. Yes, he is meant to be walking on water. Constructive criticism is very welcome, as there are many great meph conversions out there and this probably isn't one of them, but not too bad considering it's made out of spare parts.
