I haven't yet had a chance to purchase the new space marines assault squad, and I'm not quite sure yet whether I will. My two assault squads have been kitted out with tank-busting equipment and have been made up largely out of the death company kits (with parts from the tactical squad, sternguard and others)
I'd be interested to see what you make of them and, based on this, should I then bother to get the new SM assault squad?

I think they look really good, I like the black jet packs and the space wolf head looks cool my only criticism is the base the stone is cool but the grass lets it down a bit. Also a member of squad ulric seems to have an iron man thing going on, cool.
