After sorting out alot of things I am finally getting back into the swing of paiting.

Started my Warp Spiders after having a vision of the finished product and got started.

Here is a glimpse at the first test model. I will post more pics later tonight. They are in a Mymeara scheme with blues and greens so far.

I painted the backpack in black.

Then I used some Menoth White Highlight to make a white spot in the middle. I made sure to fade a bit around the edges of the white spot.

The I used some Magenta Ghost Tint to well tint the white in something that would stand out on black while keeping the white a bit visible.

Finally I used the Anarchy models HD stencils to cover the back and put some black to fill the hexagons and keep only the edges.

I wanted to go for a digital spiderweb look. Came out pretty nice, still not 100% on the color. Pondering a translucent yellow/orange as well.

Here are more shots front and back of the squad.

Looking good so far.

The first test model is nearly done.

I am testing two different process on this model. The power blade was done with a Guilliman Blue Glaze and the Death Spinner with a Fuegan Orange Wash. The powerblade looks 'ok' but I do not like the finish of the Death Spinner. Hence tonight I will be trying some Minitaire Ghost Tint on the other arm to see the difference and post the results tomorrow.

What about the rest of the model? How does it look? Like it? Hate it?
