My god.... I added one little step to my process and my GOD...
Let me explain; I always painted TTS minis like so: Basecoat>Wash>Highlight
Now, after I wash, I go back over with my basecoat color and clean all the surface that arent recesses and then put the highlights.
Did the same thing for the shoulder pads and im absolutely flabbergasted. Takes maybe....3 minutes? 4? And the result are SO much better....

Plus I saw this tip everywhere. Gotta stop being intransigent. Now, i'm gonna listen to all the feedback and actually put it to use.
It's silly but i'm so so happy i've decided to try something new and it worked out so well

Personally though the Mound likes on the back pack is bugging me

I know its a PITA part to deal with but still a peeve

Right? I need to stop thinking "This has worked for me before, so lets not change anything"

Oh yeah, me too. I'm usually pretty decent at clearing them but those ones I must've just forgot about. A shame, truly..
