Looking good! The scavenged armour/weapons is a really neat idea!

One thing that would really make these guys pop is a bit of silver 'sponge weathering'. If you're not familiar with that technique then there are plenty of tutorials out there, but it's quite simple; get some paint on an old sponge or scouring pad, and very lightly dab it on to the model. The end result is some very natural-looking chipping which would really compliment the look of these guys!

Cheer and thanks for the suggestion, Ive been thinking along those lines myself
I was going to do that last after Ive painted the other 200 odd others so I can conveyor belt them to get a consistent look and feel as every model needs to be converted
I got the scavenged armour idea after talking to Gav Thorpe at the Black Library weekender last year
