Just in time for the new codex! I struggle with white... there is a lot of white on these guys too - would love a new method if you know a decent beginner one

Honestly, the white looks a little stark. I would go with bone, done to match the chest eagles on the riders.

Otherwise, they look good.

The white can be made to work quite easily, all it needs is a quick grey or blue-grey wash, then a couple more thin layers of white, leaving the wash in the recesses.

Both excellent suggestions. I have about 20 bikes laying around - I will have to try both methods and choose my favorite. Thanks for the assistance!

Best approach to grey that I've found is straight out of white dwarf -

Prime with white spray
(All following stages included use of lhamian medium)
Base coat with Celestra Grey
Layer with Ulthuan Grey
Wash (colour of wash depends on surrounding colours, could be Nuln Oil, or Drakenhof Night Shade)
Layer again with Ulthuan Grey leaving some wash showing in the recesses.
Edge highlight with White Scar.

The grey goes on a great deal easier than white, and I've found this method to be much quicker and requiring less layers than going white - white - white.

Hope this helps
