Finished my first librarian. I might redo the highlights for the blue. I was testing a new mixture and it seems to have come out a bit faint. So, I don't know how I feel about it.
The tabard came out a bit sloppy. Vallejo GC Dead White just does not hold up when diluted. After a couple of coats I decided to not dilute it at all, and it just came out clumpy and gave me horrid brush strokes. Any suggestions on an alternative white?
I am also playing around with different colors for the face. I think it looks alright, but he also sort of looks a bit zombie-esque. i should probably brighten it up a bit. I don't know.
Anyway, this is my first "100%" complete model.

Looks very nice! Work on thinning your paints, though.

I think your colours might be a little off... The last two pics it looks like he's a slightly badly-lit Ultramarines Blue... The first pics he's very purple.

Looks good, though

Yeah, it's badly lit ultramarine blue, and taken with the terrible camera on my phone.

Put the model infront of a white background (piece of paper or something) and then take pics. Makes it easier to see contrast. Good job though

Looks good to me!

I've found VMA Ivory/Sand with a wash of Agrax Earthshade is great for quick SM parchment/cloth.
