Interesting. So we have confirmation that the "old armies" will disappear and be replaced by "newer ones".

And I'm talking about models, obviously.

I can understand even more the WFB "old players" will be quite upset when they will read that the "silly rules" were deliberate so that they can only play their "old things" in their corner.

Pretty sure that's the fate for square bases.

This has been discussed in the News & Rumours area. There are people who doubt the provenance of Faeit's rumours.
