After 1 and a half years of no war-gaming at all I have returned. I've always liked the Adeptus Mechanicus and now their minis have tempted me back to the money leach of GW. Alas I thought I had escaped. Ah well, for my first squad I decided to build vanguard rather than rangers; simply because I think they look cooler and are cheaper points wise.

I have a total of 5 painted right now; the rest are assembled and sprayed but i haven't started on them yet. I don't think the painting is too bad for 1.5 years of no practice!

So, I didnt really like the kataphrons pricing/asthetic so I decided to convert my own from WFB Ogre Bulls. Bare in mind this is my first real attempt at green stuff!

1st ones complete and looks quite good IMO

2nd is WIP but I will show pics once finished.

Ive since added smokestacks and power cables to both and will show pics later.
