***Unique awards to be handed out to teams and individuals
***ITC Points will be awarded based on individual performance

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

This is not going to to be your standard 2 vs 2 team tournament. While you will have a teammate, you will each be playing on separate tables against separate opponents. There will never be more than 2 players playing against one another during the course of this event.

  • Each team is composed of 2 players

  • Each player creates and uses their own 1850 point list
***Each list may be created using the ITC army list creation guidelines found on www.FrontlineGaming.org - https://www.frontlinegaming.org/community/frontline-gamings-independent-tournament-circuit/itc-2015-season-40k-tournament-format/

  • Teams are matched up against one another by the tournament organizer based on performance and assigned 2 tables
***Each team may then coordinate which player will play on which table based on terrain and personal preference.
***Both teams reveal simultaneously to one another which table which player is playing on.

  • Battle points will be awarded after the conclusion of both games

  • The winner of the round is determined by which team collectively amassed the most battle points

  • DON’T HAVE A PARTNER?

That is perfectly fine! Come on down and we will have a “Free Agent” sign up list where we partner you up with others that also couldn’t line up a partner.

You can also try to find a partner on the local Facebook page “San Diego 40k Force Organization.” - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1513727285544832/

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I wish you would go a bit larger with the teams. The reason why is that you get more types of armies on each team, and it makes the captains pairings a lot more strategic

4 person teams or at least 3 would be better. .

I'd agree, but I'm sure there's a bit of a balancing act between team size and space/number of teams.

As Evan pointed out, there is indeed a space issue if we start getting teams that large into that store. I would love to go 3, maybe next time!

Great event! Had a lot of fun. My Orks went 2-1, I got stopped in my tracks by an Ignores Cover Centstar. But, I still would have pulled a tie had the game ended on turn 5. Great opponent. Orks can get it done but they are definitely playing the game on hard mode.

The event was a blast! Well run, very fun. Top generals were an Eldar and Astra Militarum team, and InControl and Tastey Taste won best overall with a Dark Angels and War Convocation team.
