Finished this for the Dakka 'unofficial' painting challenge. Wish I had taken pics of it in terrain. Looks better than it does under my kitchen hood.

I swear to God-Emperor, I don't think I have ever seen you type anything positive about anyone's work. It can be a case of "Uh, I heard something" or just making a cool pose. Yes, people like to pose characters in ways they think it looks cool.

Anyway, I'm not really a fan of the old style Dark Eldar, but you did a good job there! He looks very gritty with the exception of the shoulder pads, kinda different from the usual. Unfortunately I can't see that many details, when I try to zoom in the image goes too blurry. What was the contest about?

Thanks guys . I can promise that it's not worth zooming in on, just paint, washes, and dry brush for highlights. Couple of details picked out here and there.

As to the original comment, he just heard something, or saw something, or is perhaps longing for the torture pits back home, or is reminiscing about his first kill...it was a troll.

To the OP, I like it! Nice and characterful. I immediately thought in my head when i saw it *crack* "what was that?" and then back to sniping dudes
