Here’s the first Korean TV commercial for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s comprised of 95% footage from the first two trailers except that first shot. That first shot is all new, awesome, and packed with little details throughout the frame. Since we haven’t seen it before, let’s see what secrets it holds.
http://io9.com/lets-dissect-the-crap-out-of-this-new-star-wars-the-fo-1723109598?utm_campaign=socialflow_io9_facebook&utm_source=io9_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

So, in short, a new shot of the new enemy from SWtFA.

Spoiler:
I think, in the left corner and just before the Tie-fighters, I don't recognize that ship/carrier.

Captioned in Korean.

Distinct Nazi vibes in the whole setup of a big arena and black, white and red colours dominating.

That shot looks like it was designed JUST for that market.

The framing and the set-up.... screams of Asian cinema to me.

It's a nice shot and one I am not used to seeing from a Star Wars movie.

The First Order (iirc) is a remnant of Palapatine's Empire which was also filled with Nazi allegory so this shouldn't really be much of a surprise.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Leni Riefenstahl shot it earlier.

Leni Riefenstahl shot it better. Its really epic cinematography. Too bad it was for murderers.

A lot of wasted rally space in that picture...

Looks ok, nice to see more Empire looks bad scenes. I mean, I know they blew up a planet in the movie but other than that they don't seem like bad guys really.

Fair enough. But ranks upon ranks of soldiers seems to be a favorite theme of many of the Asian movies I have seen, especially ones from Japan.

Runnin up on ya.

Man, it should have been obvious but it took me like 10 minutes of stressing my brain to figure out the second word in the picture.

It just says "the force awakens" in Korean. lol.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Yeah... for being a bunch of "nazis from a long time ago and really far away" type dudes, they don't really do pomp and military circumstance very well...

I mean, when you look at most other totalitarian types who do rallies, the banners are all lined up, perfectly squared up forming straight lines everywhere.

This just looks like some dude was saying, "ohh, that group needs a flag, and that one over there and oop... forgot about those guys!"

It looks kind of weird too, having no civilians around or anything it just looks like a huge drain of time for no real reason.

Unless military forces do this for fun and not for show...

Hopefully there is more to this picture.

I would say the First Order are putting on a rally for propaganda reasons then putting it out on the Holonet for everyone to see.

Nuremburg rallies, nuf said.

Also on the landing craft: Space Wolves called, they asked if they could have their flying garbage skips back!

Armies: Space Marines, IG, Tyranids, Eldar, Necrons, Orks, Dark Eldar.

You're right, they're probably just showing the whole unit practicing for the big parade

Honestly, this was my thought too. Saw Korea in the title and thought KJU photoshopped his army into Star Wars armor to "terrify" the rest of the world. Plus he has a TIE!!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Yup, which is funny, because they actually look like a throwback to the All Terrain Tactical Enforcer (AT-TE) used during the Clone Wars.

Well, I can only assume the Empire is on a tight budget after someone, coughEMPERORcough, drained the budget for some projects. So they were not able to get everyone a flag in time for the big, we're-not-compensating, parade. The other flags are still at the printers waiting for the rest of their money.

You know the two guys in the back, in black, are saying "The Emperor was more organized, he had more flags. He would never have tolerated such sloppy flag placements. We're doomed, how can anyone take us seriously if we can't even afford enough flags for everyone who should have them. I should have listened to my mother and become a doctor."

Well, the Death Star was in construction even though it was already fully operational and he had anticipated a huge victory against the rebellion. Maybe the Emperor had the entire Imperial flag collection moved to the Death Star in anticipation of a combination victory/open house? No wonder they are all gone now...

Indeed.

They seem to lack the head of the AT-AT. Possibly due to the vulnerability the neck posed. Of course that doesn't excuse the silly legs still being there.

Well, it's not much of a walker without legs.

The AT-TE is a more practical walker design. Namely that its not stupidly top heavy.

An AT-TE would never get tripped up by a Snow Speeder.

Leni Riefenstahl shot it earlier.

And Star Wars imitated her earlier, too; the awards scene at the end of Star Wars (you know, the one featuring the Rebel Alliance ) was an homage to The Triumph of the Will.

And the Empire vs Rebels conflict on Endor was influenced by the US in Vietnam...

For a rally you'd think they'd at least line up properly. Bar the mentioned flags, seriously, those guys look like they're about to knock into each other. Presumably this is a shot of them still setting up something. ...Or are Stormtroopers equally bad at standing in straight lines as they are shooting?
