Got inspired to convert up some personalized DCannons. Going with 'floating'. Here are some WiP pics:

I would like to see it floating a bit higher. Right now the hovering effect is slightly lost since it's so close to the gorund.

For sure! It is temporarily on some brass rod. I plan to swap them for something stronger/stiffer. When I do I will raise it a little.

Distortion Cannon conversions complete. Armless Guardians for scale.

Progress pic. These are 60-70% done. Metal heat-distortion effect on the barrel, electric-blue glowy effects and (some) gems to be added. All the metal save the barrel tip is being moved to bronze--I found a bottle that I'd forgotten I had.
