Ok guys, I painted up these two test models and was wondering which scheme you thought was better.

Went with the Blue, the Green looks too much like a Boba Fett tribute act.

If I may make a suggestion -- give them both a quick wash. They'll look way better. For some reason, blue one reminds me of Cobra Commander. I think the blue one would look better with silver in place of the vertical red ribbed stripe (though that's neatly painted, props!) and the orange patch on the right leg.

The green one would also look better with one less color, I think. I'd get rid of the orange. Paint the shoulder fin red, the opposing leg fin red, and the current red fin green. Make the tassle red, too, and highlight the mark on the head (silver would be easy).

Just my opinion

Yeah, you guys got what I was going for with both of these. They were both given a wash though, I think the issue is with the original base colour being too light. Keep in mind I'll be applying these colour schemes to Craftworld Eldar, these are just what I had to work with for test schemes.

On that note, which model is that blue one? I really like that faceplate.

The color "flows" better on the blue model.

Big parts are popping on the the first model but not the details. The eyes are dark when you look from far they are lost between a dark green and dark red. If you do go with the first, might I suggest maybe light purple or orange eyes? Something that would make the head come into focus.
