Hallo conversionists, scratchbuilders and those who just want to look at some orky stuff.

A few days ago I thought about something, I might have read about before - Orks and teleporters.
While I was at work, an idea came up, how would an orky tellyporta look like.
If I´m right, some orks use teleporting to bring Grots into the battlefield by using the Snotzogga (?) or something like that - correct me if I´m wrong.
- I don´t play the game - yet - , so I do not know every unit and/or specialty.

I started with a few sketches...

After a few thoughts about it, I chose the idea on the bottom left to be the variant I would prefer.

Only a few minutes after I got "home", I started with the cutting of the foamboard I wanted to use.

Next I thought about the controlpanel, that should be attached to the tellyporta and putting it on a base.

As you might recognize, there is an ork boy ready to get tellyported into the battle

Said and done:

After this was done, I put a Mekboy toghether, who does the "magic".
A little bit convertin on the arms and he was perfectly fitting the controlpanel.

Then I started priming the whole thing.

Oh this is fabulous. The last photo touches my happy places.

My one complaint is it's too neat. More random, trailing, sparking cables, more mismatched tiles and asymmetrical shapes!

Absolutely love this, Kustomer D! I've often wondered exactly what tellyportas would look like as well.

How about a second diorama later on showing the arriving boy and maybe another arrival that err... hasn't gone smoothly :-D

Nid. I thought about that. I got a pretty good idea of a twisted ork. The arraving part of this one is allready planed. It might take some time to finish the whole ideas I've got.

I just had a thought on this. looks like there is some extra room on the top. Could be cool to add some kind of satellite dish or something to act as a homing beacon of sorts. Either way it looks great

Looking Great! Especialy the materializing Ork.

All its needs is a Slightly confussed Ork boy with his legs on backwards. This needs humours Tellyporta mishaps. Now I want to build one.

This was a fun to build and paint. I must say, it turned out even better than I thought I could do this.
