So, I've been slowly building my SW army for a couple years, now, though more modeling than painting. I thought I'd start a blog in an effort to get either constructive criticism or motivation. I'm not generally wild about a lot of the traditional painting/color schemes associated with the Vlka Fenryka and their lupine associates, so I've tried some combinations of my own.

Here's my first completed Grey Hunter (though I may do some retouching on the hair and wolf tails):

And my first completed Rhino, front, side, and interior.

The Runes are Elder Futhark, the alphabet of Viking-era Norse. The plaque is simply the phonetic spelling of "Dragongaze", and the little bit on the other side is simply, "One".

And my version of Fenrisian Wolves. I'm much happier with the grey than the brown, but these were the first I've finished painting.

Kit-bashed Long Fangs and Scouts. The Long Fangs use the current Dev Squad Kit, a ridiculously old Dev Squad kit, and a Space Wolves Grey Hunters/Blood Claws/Power Armor Wolf Guard Kit. They're for a mid-field unit - I don't have any photos handy of my back-field squad.

Some TWC builds. The trio is designed as a TH/SS combination, a Wolf Lord with Frost Sword (or Fang Sword of the Ice Wolf, or Krakenbone Sword, as needed) and Plasma Pistol, and an Iron Priest. The solo model is a simple bolt pistol/SS.

Blood Claws.
