Hello! I have been painting/playing this hobby on and off for years. I have a few friends who have been playing with me a long time and a few newer players. We decided to undertake a "paint challenge" over the next 5 months as some of the players are working on new/first armies and some of us have been sitting on unpainted stuff for a long time.

Here is how it will work.

Month 1 300 points
Month 2 350 points
Month 3 400 points
Month 4 450 points
Month 5 500 points

Here are the "factions" being painted.

Tony - Marines (custom chapter, silver)
Dan - Khorne Demonkin
Lewis (me) - Eldar/Dark/Harlie
Adam - Tau
Geoff - Marines (sons of medusa)

You don't have to paint an entire army per se but it must be a congruent force. (for instance I am doing harlequins, elder, dark eldar)

The goal is to work towards a fully painted 2000 points force.

On the last day of each month each participant must send pics of their months entry to me by midnight. Those that fail will owe $10 USD to the pot. At the end of the event we are having a pizza apocalypse fun day with our new armies and the money from the pot will curb the cost!

Each player must keep up the pace. If you fail to finish a month then you still need to get it done for the following month. So at the end of month 2 you need 650 for instance. The further behind you fall the harder it is to catch up! You can paint ahead as well.

So far of the 5 players only 1 did not meet the first months challenge. (Geoff....)
