I've been searching for a Dark Apostle figure around my area for quite some time but no dice.

So I'm wondering if this is good enough/passable as a Dark Apostle... I'm working on my Word Bearers army right now and I want an Apostle to lead them.

I would, he looks the part even without the wings.

I did something very similar for mine as I think the official model is quite hideous. Mind you my true Dark Apostle leading my WBs wears TA, uses the rules for a generic lord and is way older than the current book, but I use the DV chosen as 'Acolyte' and just swapped his helmet for the open book from the Termi-Sorc and it looks awesome imho
