These are the first of a few terrain pieces that I have scratch built for a mordheim campaign. Was wondering what you guys thought of them? Any criticisms and such. Thanks for looking

I like the statue and his stand area a lot. Maybe give him some bronze with a bit o' verdigris?

Bronze paint... GW has a nice verdigris washy thing. That's the only reason I will ever use GW paint: technicals and textures.

I don't use gw paints for terrain as it comes out a bit too expensive. I'll have to pop into a craft store or look online to see if there is anything cheap. But I'll have to get the wash thingy for sure

I dont use GW under any circumstances besides techs and texts. You may need to pick up a bronze paint. I use Game Color's Brassy Brass. Literally the best name ever.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you don't use GW paints? I've been using them (along with other manufacturers) for years and have never had an issue. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the lack of dropper bottles, but that's a pretty minor complaint.

Ahhh... so it's a packaging thing and has nothing to do with the paint? The implication seemed to be that the paint was no good. Dropper bottles are definitely nice for mixing paints and not being wasteful. I buy empty dropper bottles off Amazon and transfer the paints that I tend to use a lot or common mixtures.

Very nice terrain! I especially like the statue; I am in the process of doing something similar (in a while 'mind), a statue in the middle of a city plaza.
Where did you get the Statue?
The barricades and houses are also nicely made.
I admit I am quite happy to see that more and more people are going for Mordheim. I suppose the video game helped that.
