Moved to university and everything's not quite working with my miniature set up (including photography), but I'm finding solutions.

Painted this model for a friend who's birthday is coming up.
C&C welcome.

Well done! That is a sharp looking model and the base is quite lovely. I especially like the Elvish script on the rim. Your friend will no doubt be thrilled.

Nice job. Having painted that mini too, its quite small compared to wh.

I approve!

cc = maybe a light wash on the hair.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Thanks for the comments

For the hair I thought about a shade and relayer at the time but trying to finish this in a couple evenings meant I decided to leave it.

This is a very nice looking model. Really complimented by a very nice base

Lovely painting, and the base brings it all together really nicely.

I really like the basing! I remember painting this mini some years ago, it's smaller than WH40k ones and was surprisingly tricky to paint.

I got some comments saying how small the last model was, here's a hobbit!
I went with the right kind of colours for pippin but mostly more saturated versions.
