So I was going to make a troll army once apon a time for LoTRs. Never got around to it. But I finally finished painting my troll (about 2 years later). I made the base out of wood chips and a little sand dusted on top of it. Started with a neutral gray primer. Then blocked areas in with simple citidel model paints. Played around with he washes a bit to try to get the skin to feel greasy or unbathed. Not sure if it came out that way. Anyway Let me know what you guys think.

If you wanting a compliment...you got one, I think it looks cool, maybe do a bit more wash on the legs, still looks very "clean". But just my opinion.

Hey Kingpin54. I'm glad you like it. Do you have any suggestions for washes to make the skin feel a little more dirty. I was thinking a light green glaze may do the trick dab on selectively. But I'm unsure of it.

Always loved that model, one of the few from the LOTR line. You've done it justice

I would use more of a light brown wash, or more of the wash you used.
